MONTAGE : HOME CONTEST 5 - GOODBYE EDITION

Même les meilleures choses ont une fin. Après une folle année passée dans les murs célèbres du 116 à Bruxelles, toute l'équipe avait été informée par le propriétaire que tout prendrait fin le 30 Juin. Tant qu'à partir, autant le faire avec classe, bruit et fureur, et ainsi mettre sur pied le cinquième et final Home Contest.

Even the best things come to an end some day. After spending roughly a year in the infamous 116 mansion in Brussels, the whole crew had been informed they'd be expelled on the 30th of June. They came to the realization that if they had to move on, at least they'd move on with style, and thus they put together the fifth and final Home Contest.

Cette dernière édition, justement baptisée « Goodbye Edition », devait immanquablement laisser des marques, et quelques souvenirs à tous les voisins restant. Dans cette idée, Lola, Orphée, Antoine et Rémy ont organisé les Championnats du Monde de Mini-rampe en Appartement, construit ladite mini-rampe, et invité les meilleurs patineurs à s'y affronter.

This last edition, accurately named the « Goodbye Edition », was definitely bound to leave a mark on the appartment, and some good memories to all remaining neighbours, as Lola, Orphée, Antoine & Rémy actually hosted the World Miniramp Ultimate Championship Finals on some homemade, next level obstacle, and invited some of the world's best skaters to battle.

Il va sans dire que tout s'est bien déroulé, c'est-à-dire de façon encore plus folle que d'habitude. Nous espérons que ce montage que notre reporter « Bodchoy » vous a rapporté de Belgique vous plaira, et vous proposons en accompagnement quelques clichés du photographe Mathieu Hennebert. Et bien sûr, nous souhaitons bon vent, et bonne chance à toute l'équipe du 116 !

Needless to say, it was quite hectic, and things got crazy as always, if not crazier. Hopefully this little edit our reporter « Bodchoy » brought back from Belgium will give you a glimpse of what went down, along with a few pictures from photographer Mathieu Hennebert. And of course, we all would like to wish a good farewell to the whole 116 Crew !
