MONTAGE : SYLVAIN RIGAUD REMZ EDIT 2009

It often gets repetitive, if not boring, when one is asked to introduce a skater. In the present situation, Sylvain Rigaud is technical, fluid and stylish, but that's nothing you won't be able to notice for yourself when watching the following Remz profile, filmed and edited by friend Allan Beaulieu over the course of the two last years.
This time, I feel like telling you a little story instead. Back in 2004, there was a contest being held at my local park, followed on the next day by a street session on the city spots. People came from around the country and after getting warmed up on some handicap rails, the crowd proceeded on skating a high, thin and barely waxed parking down ledge only a few tricks had been landed on. Some new ones were laced, but suddenly some quiet out-of-towner took things to a whole new level.
I won't list the tricks, and how technical they were, nor tell you how smoothly they were executed. This story won't depict how gracefully those stunts were laced, but after watching this edit, it won't be hard for you to imagine the whole thing, and understand why this ledge is now called "Sylvain Rigaud's ledge". This 23 years old boy can get all the recognition he deserves within our industry, for me he'll just remain that humble and quiet guy that travels to your town, and kills your own spots with his smooth and technical tricks, and his signature steeze.

I won't list the tricks, and how technical they were, nor tell you how smoothly they were executed.
